Baltimore is home to a diverse and vibrant LGBTQ+ community – we need your help to bring this original take on a classic story to life. This will be an opportunity for our LA-based playwright, Joshua Conkel (Netflix’s A Series of Unfortunate Events), to hear from members of Baltimore’s LGBTQ+ community. The discussion will help us to create and shape Peter Pan to reflect the stories that come from members of the community like you. Joshua will return in the spring for a workshop series, when you will have an opportunity to be the first to hear a draft of this new work!

More about Peter Pan!
This modern take on a childhood favorite will explore contemporary conversations on gender, sexuality, and performative identity and embrace queer culture. Neverland will be transformed from a distant fantasy to a modern safe-haven for those who have been rejected and devalued, a stronghold against normalcy and a place where Peter and his Lost Boys can finally be themselves.

Previews: April 25-26, 2018
Performances: April 27-May 20, 2018
