We are hiring a Virtual Education Coordinator!
After five years, our awesome Director of Education and Outreach is moving on to another position.
As the world and our business have changed a lot in the past few months, so we are shifting and creating a new position.
We are looking for a Virtual Education Coordinator. You must have experience in sex education, have a knowledge of the sex education community and be committed to working to build a sex positive world.
The position will be 100% virtual for the forseeable future. I want to be very clear - the world is weird right now. I think we will be able to keep this as a virtual position, but it is possible that we would need to return this to an in person position at some point, if and when, we are able to have in store workshops again.
The position is 20 hours a week. It requires the ability to be online hosting workshops evenings and weekends (Eastern time). For tax reasons/PPP repayment, the person must be a resident of the United States and legally able to work in the US.
Pay is $18 an hour. Benefits include a 40% store discount and sick time. Our current health insurance is only available to people working 35+ hours (Kaiser's rule, not ours - we'd love to offer health insurance to all staff).
To apply, please send a cover letter and resume to: [email protected]
In the cover letter, please address how your experience is relevant to this position.
Application deadline: Thursday, August 27th at 6pm
NO CALLS OR IN PERSON VISITS PLEASE
